About M.R. Osborne

M.R. Osborne Theology at the University of Birmingham and later qualified as a Solicitor, specialising in private client law. He is an Associate of The European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism (ESSWE).

He has published academic papers on both legal and esoteric matters. His focus is on Rosicrucianism, early Masonic organisation and occult symbolism. A member of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia, in 2018 he was awarded the prestigious Order of the Companions of Christian Rosenkreutz (CCR) award for a series of papers on 'The Lessons of Lyons'.

He has written a number of papers for the S.R.I.A.'s Metropolitan Study Group.  He also contributed to the S.R.I.A.'s digital magazine Flores et Taciturnas. and Watkins Magazine.

Why He Writes

M.R. Osborne first encountered Martinism and Rosicrucianism on a personal journey of Christian spirituality. In them he discovered a fascinating philosophy of early science and theology, maintained by hidden organisations almost completely unknown to mainstream society.

Shedding new light on these topics by writing books on Rosicrucianism, Martinezism and other related areas of research - for both newcomers and seasoned experts alike - brings him great satisfaction both as a writer and as an enthusiast.
