Now in its second edition, this book offers a clear and engaging introduction to one of the most influential yet unfinished works of Western esotericism. The Treatise on the Reintegration of Beings was left incomplete when its enigmatic author, Martinez (Martinés) de Pasqually, died in 1774.

Pasqually had intended it to be a sweeping commentary on salvation history—from the creation of Adam to the ascension of Christ—but what survives is a profound and symbolically rich commentary on Genesis, preserved through the redacted manuscripts of his secretaries, the Abbé Fournié and Louis‑Claude de Saint‑Martin. It remains one of the foundational texts of the Élus Coën tradition and a cornerstone for understanding the later work of Saint‑Martin and Willermoz.

The Treatise offers a systematic exploration of the origins of evil, the fall of man, and the divine plan for humanity's reintegration with God.

“This is a truly beautiful piece of work, which really makes Pasqually come to life and brings his beliefs through clearly. This has not been done previously."  Matt Fletcher, Sovereign Grand Master of the Allied Masonic Degrees of Canada

Previous English translations of the Treatise on the Reintegration of Beings relied exclusively on the 1899 René Philippon French edition—an incomplete and imperfect text that omits significant material. This new edition is the most complete English version of Pasqually's Treatise ever published, finally freeing the work from the limitations of earlier translations. It renders Pasqually's ideas in modern, lucid language without diluting their depth, making his complex metaphysics accessible to contemporary readers.

For the first time, English‑speaking readers can approach the Treatise without being hindered by missing passages, archaic phrasing, or opaque syntax. The depth of Pasqually's theology—his vision of creation, fall, and reintegration—emerges with clarity, allowing the Treatise to be read as its author intended.

Pasqually's original manuscript presents formidable challenges. His writing is marked by irregular grammar, minimal punctuation, and an eighteenth‑century French idiom that can be difficult even for native speakers. Earlier translations, bound to the limitations of the Philippon edition, could only approximate the full scope of his thought. This edition overcomes those obstacles and is the most complete and accessible version of the work available in English.

An indispensable resource for anyone seeking to understand the foundations of Martinism, the Élus Coëns, and the spiritual lineage that shaped Saint‑Martin and Willermoz.  Available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle, and audiobook.

"What an excellent book this is, with an outstanding translation. I have read many versions of this book, and this is probably the most accessible and enjoyable version to read. If you are a member or just interested in the Order [Élus Coëns], then you need to get a copy."

"Readable, while still poetic, Osborne has done a masterful job of translating a book that is frequently difficult but worth reading each and every word of."
