This was created for a project undertaken for my BA Illustration course on the theme of ‘Book Heaven’. My response was to move away from the obvious idea of angels sitting on clouds reading books and try a more thought provoking and deviant slant on the theme. Whilst still making them colourful and bold I tried to make my illustrations more suited to an adult audience by questioning the brief.
